It’s the end of the week and hope you had a great one!
If it’s been one of those weeks where it seems like you didn’t get much done, here’s something that can help with next week’s execution.
Oftentimes when people come to us (client or not), they know what to do, it’s just a matter of focus and doing the thing.
Here’s what you can do.
Over the weekend, put together a list of 5 things you need to do over the next week.
Not just any 5 tiny tasks, but 5 things you can do to really move the needle that week. Putting this list together only needs to take 5-10 minutes, but can dramatically increase the focus of the week.
The more focus you actually put into creating the 5 things list, the more focused you’ll be the entire week.
If you half-ass this, you’ll probably half-ass the execution of the things you’re doing.
There may be a correlation here…
Here’s how you can take it to the next level.
Write those 5 things down on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope. On the envelope, write “I’m proud of you.” and “Open on 5 August”.
On 5 August (the end of next week), when you open the envelope, if you see that you’ve done all the tasks, you get to reward yourself with something nice.
Could be a special dinner, a glass of wine or whatever you wanna do to celebrate YOU.
I know, pretty simple.
But life doesn’t need to be complex.
